Where does the time go?

We hope you are having a fun and fantastic summer!  The band has been up to our eyeballs playing weddings, festivals, and local concert series.  My solo act and Spencer and Luke's duo "Formerly Three" have been booked non-stop as well.  Thank you all for your referrals and helping us do what we love most...playing live music!

It's hard to believe fall is coming up so fast.  We won't have another weekend off until October, so please check the Schedule for upcoming dates.  So far, the schedule is updated adding dates as far out as September, 2015.  So, if you know of any dates you'd like us for, please contact us immediately!

We're looking forward to another fun weekend as we point the van back towards McCool Junction, NE for our friend Melanie's wedding.  It should be a great time!

Hang on to these last few weeks of summer weather!  Be safe!

-Dave

Exciting dates added!

Hope y'all are enjoying this warm weather finally!

We have a crazy and full calendar this year!  Dates are actually coming in as far as June 2015 already.  We'll be playing a lot of fun weddings, some great summer concert series, performing with a national act or two, and of course some local clubs as well.

Among some of those awesome dates, here are some newly added jems!

May 31 - Village Pointe Mall Concert Series - Omaha, NE
June 27 - Shadow Lake Mall Concert Series - Papillion, NE
July 18 - South Pointe Mall Concert Series - Lincoln, NE
August 7 - Hot Summer Nights Concert Series - McCook, NE
August 9 - CreekFest (Opening for Chris Janson) - Cherokee, IA
September 13 - Mustang Roundup Street Dance - McCool Junction, NE
NEW YEARS EVE - Younes Convention Center - Kearney, NE

Be sure to check www.theinnocencelive.com/schedule for info on each date.

Saturday, April 26 we'll be performing with the University of Nebraska Jazz Rock Ensemble.  We are extremely honored to be playing with Dr. Jim Payne on his final concert before a well-deserved retirement.  Dr. Payne was our advisor at UNK when all the members of The Innocence were in the Music Business degree program.  It's very cool to be playing with someone we all looked up to so much.

The show starts at 7:30 pm at the UNK Fine Arts building.  Hope to see you there!

That's all for now.  I'll try and crank out a blog or two a month and keep you all in the loop.

Take care,
Dave

A great year ahead!

Where did November and December go?  I guess we can't think about that right now...we're booking into December 2014 already!

We'd like to thank the Lexington Optimists for letting us be a part of their New Years Eve festivities.  You guys throw an amazing party.  We hope to play for you again soon!

2014 looks to be our busiest year yet!  So far over 35 shows are booked covering most of the weekends in the year.   Fourteen weddings!

Winter is a great time to catch us playing club dates.  Make sure to check out our schedule for dates in Kearney, Grand Island, Broken Bow, NE and even Colby, KS.

Stay warm!

Dave & The Innocence

Thanks yous!

It's been a crazy month!  Wait...it's GONE!  Well, we need to stop for a minute and send out some very deserved thank yous.

Thank you Kandra and all the fantastic staff at The Faucet in Grand Island!  This fun little bar made a great decision to put live music back in Grand Island, and it's been working great!  We'll be back at The Faucet December 6th.

Thank you, and congratulations to Chris and Jessica Pohl!  Your beautiful wedding was a ton of fun!  It means a lot to us yet to hear "one more song!".  If the body was willing, we'd have played all night.

More weddings and private parties will round out The Innocence calendar this year.  HOWEVER, catch us at Sculley's Shooters November 15-16, and Kearney Shooters December 27-28!

Until then...Peace & Love!
